About the Event

The Master Urban Gardener (MUG) program offers intensive, skill-building training for community and home gardeners of all experience levels in Greater Boston and beyond. Participants gain practical knowledge to thrive in community gardens.

MUG in Spanish is a collaboration between GreenRoots and The Trustees, building on 30 years of expertise from The Trustees' longstanding Master Urban Gardener course in English.

Join us for five Saturday sessions covering: 

  • February 7: Garden Planning, Sowing Seeds
  • February 14: Soil Fundamentals
  • February 21: Fruit Trees and Shrubs
  • March 7: Plant Pest and Disease Management
  • March 14: Composting

This course will be exclusively in Spanish.
