Beejan Asady is a microbiologist, public health researcher, and law student whose work has focused on the connection between environmental conditions and community health. A graduate of the University of Georgia and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, he is currently pursuing a law degree at Boston University. Beejan also provides pro-bono legal support to residents facing housing and record-sealing challenges. Through his experiences living in East Boston, he developed an appreciation for the critical work GreenRoots does in the community and is excited to contribute as a Board member. He is passionate about environmental justice, expanding green space, and improving public access to the waterfront.
