7th Annual Evening on the Creek!

For decades, GreenRoots has been on the forefront organizing for environmental justice and waterfront access. We have always ensured that when land and water become cleaner, those most impacted by the years of environmental degradation and toxic pollution will have access to these natural resources: Our waterfront, our land, our neighborhoods. Now, despite so much success, we are in a similar predicament as our fellow residents. Like so many, we too are being displaced from our home.

GreenRoots must vacate our waterfront offices. But we will never vacate our dream of permanent public access to the Chelsea Creek waterfront.

We’re calling on our GreenRoots family for your support as we make this transition and as we continue to fight against displacement in Chelsea and East Boston. As we move to a temporary space, we need your help to secure a permanent home for the community on the Chelsea Creek waterfront. Over the next several months we are looking to raise $500,000 for a new office space, but we can’t do this without your full fledged support.
